The items on this page are items sold for chinchillas but there are several reasons why we do not recommend them
In the treats there is too much sugar content and we only recommend Healthy low sugar treats to prolong the life of your chinchillas
The toys and dust baths are made of plastic so they are unsuitable for being kept in a chinchilla cage as these can be toxic if chiinchillas chew them,
We do not recommend chinchilla wheels due to the fact they can cause the chinchilla to become obsessed and overheat which can lead to fitting and in some cases this results in death.
Some people do use metal chinchilla wheels but on talking to the top breeders in the UK that have been breeding chinchillas for 30 years they also do not recommend them because of the above reasons.
