Introduction Steps:

1 Cages next to each other

2 Share the dust bath between the 2 cages

3 Put some baby powder in their dust bath (about a teaspoon)

4 Swap their cages (existing chin's into spare cage, new chin into the cage you want them all to be in) this gets them used to each others smells, swap them back every few days several times before letting them out to play together

5 Let them out to play together in a neutral area never inside a cage

6 If they jump on each others back this is normal dominance and there could be a little fur pulling, but if they dive and attack each other remove them and try again another day

7 Keep repeating steps 1 to 6 until you have your chinchillas introduced and happy living together
