There are several options in breeding chinchillas here are some of the options aswell as tips on when to seperate the babies from their parents

Basic Rules of Breeding Chinchillas

1) Never breed from rescued Chinchillas

2) Never breed from Pet Shop bought chinchillas that you do not know the history of

3) Never breed a Black Velvet with another Black Velvet (this can result in the lethal factor)

4) Never breed a White with another White (this can result in the lethal factor)

Tips on when to separate babies

 

Once Babies are 8 weeks old it is best to start weening them this means remove them from being with their Mum and putting them in another cage

At the age of  8-10 weeks separate boys from girls otherwise they could end up mating
